Some people dream about exploring and building things. With AI, the dream is now within reach. This is what creativity and passion can do in a weekend.

What You'll Find Inside
See planets and moons up close, in motion, at real scale. No astronomy degree required.
Pilot through the solar system as a space probe. Orbit insertion, free fly, cinematic, and chase modes let you skim moon surfaces, lock into orbit, or ride alongside a spacecraft.
Zoom into planetary cloud bands and keep zooming. Procedural shaders add resolution on demand — the closer you get, the more you see.
All 8 planets, the Sun, and Pluto move on accurate orbital paths driven by a live ephemeris. Watch Enceladus geysers from 200 km. See Pluto's heart-shaped nitrogen plains. The physics are real — and it updates in real time.
How I Built It
I lead major technology programs for a living. I know what it usually takes to build something like this. This is not that story.
I built this because nothing on the market captured what I wanted — a first-person space exploration experience rooted in a game from my youth. So I stopped waiting and built it myself. That's what AI makes possible now.
I used Claude and Fable — Anthropic's agentic coding tool during its introductory period — paired with Three.js for 3D rendering and Cloudflare Workers for zero-cost hosting. No development team. No prior WebGL experience. Just conversation and iteration.
v1: Core Jupiter system, orbital mechanics, camera modes, spatial audio.
v2–v4: Orbit insertion, procedural shaders, GeoSync orbit, UI polish.
v5: Earth + Moon — city lights, auroras, clouds, 6 Apollo landing sites.
v6: Mars — Olympus Mons, Valles Marineris, dust storms, Phobos + Deimos.
v7: Saturn — ring system, ring shadows, Titan, Enceladus geysers, 9 moons.
v8: Mercury, Venus, Uranus, Neptune — all 8 planets complete.
v9: The Sun — photosphere, corona, sunspots, solar flares, prominences.
v10: Pluto + Charon — New Horizons imagery, blue nitrogen haze, Mordor Macula.
The Bigger Idea
AI is democratizing product creation in a way nothing has before. Three years ago, building something like this required a team, a budget, and years of specialized experience. Today it requires curiosity, passion, and a willingness to try.
Individuals have always had ideas. Now they have the tools to match. You can write and publish a book. Develop software. Start a business. The barriers that once required years to clear can now be cleared in a weekend.
Companies are slower to adapt — often for legitimate reasons. Regulatory requirements, established processes, organizational complexity. That's the professional world I work in every day. I understand why institutions move carefully. But individuals don't have those constraints.

How AI Becomes Your Partner in Curiosity and Creativity
This simulator didn't start with a plan. It started with a doodle — a memory, a question, a what-if. The Doodle Principle is about what becomes possible when you stop waiting to have the right skills and start exploring with AI as your creative partner.
Written for curious people — not just technologists. If you've ever had an idea you didn't know how to build, this book is for you.
About the Builder

MBA · PMP · IT Program Leader · Author
I've spent 25 years leading technology transformations — from infrastructure projects to 8-figure enterprise programs. I'm not a developer. I'm a builder with a curiosity problem and, now, finally, the tools to match.
I built this because I wanted it to exist. I haven't been this excited about technology since the internet became a thing. The Doodle Principle is my attempt to share that excitement — and give others a framework for channeling their own.
